About Me

As both the director and a practitioner, I bring a wealth of diverse experience to my counselling practice. My background includes working in community services, health, employment, and martial arts, where I have supported a diverse range of people as a counsellor, mentor, trainer, and coach.
 
My approach is highly individualised and shaped by my background and traditional values. It is grounded in forming genuine relationships with people. In traditional culture, relationships, authenticity, respect, and a strong sense of community are of the utmost importance – and these principles remain at the forefront of my practice.

Tao & Mind – The word “Tao” means the “way” or “path,” and in our services, we focus on facilitating a journey where the person will uncover their true self that will be in line and harmonious with their beliefs and values.

This will lead to the person being able to live to the fullest and a life of passion and purpose.

My Qualifications

My commitment to continuous personal and professional development through regular training, education, and mentoring programs, means that my clients also benefit with up-to-date, relevant and practical information.

Outside of my practice, I’m passionate about learning, travel, culture and health & wellness. I am an accomplished Martial Artist.

Some of my notable personal and professional achievements are, being recognised as Adult Educator of the Year by the SA Government and competing at the Abu Dhabi World Pro for Jiu Jitsu.
